Essential Tasks

Analyze and interpret CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) reports, as well as reading and interpreting technical drawings. You should have the ability to analyze, manage, and solve problems, with a strong knowledge of materials and solutions for surface and structural parts. Additionally, knowledge of production processes in transfer, tandem, and progressive tools is essential to ensure projects are completed with precise specifications and in accordance with the customer's standards. Proficiency in evaluating stamped parts and tooling will help you provide immediate solutions for problem containment and elimination of dimensional and aesthetic flaws.

Use parameters and applied mathematics to determine the best approach for each task. Having expertise in manual adjustment of surface and structural parts is critical to ensure that high-quality products are produced within the required specifications. Attention to detail is necessary to ensure all parts meet quality standards.

Verify compliance of the finished part with the required CMM tolerances, as well as FPA (First Piece Approval) standards, and accurately document actions. You will be responsible for reporting labor in the TST systems and/or as agreed upon with the customer. Proper documentation ensures that all procedures and results are tracked and meet customer expectations.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping tasks. Take responsibility for meeting new and diverse requests, contributing to the achievement of organizational objectives. It is important to follow all policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Always be responsible for your actions and act as a reliable team member.

Good technical math skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are highly valued. You should be self-motivated and demonstrate a strong desire to learn and improve continuously.
Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Office package proficiency

Proficiency in operating all toolroom machines, including hand adjustments (e.g., mills, lathes, grinders, saws), CMM interpretation, and HLTO activities

Strong technical math skills (shop math, geometry, and trigonometry)
